Friendship Village of Schaumburg was pleased to welcome Billy Elton to perform at the senior living community last week. The live performance of Billy Joel and Elton John tribute musicians entertained more than 170 enthralled residents for an hour and a half.

The biggest fans in the audience included Ralph and Gerry Spears, whose son Reid is the lead singer and pianist of the 8-piece band, and granddaughter Jaidyn is a vocalist. Additionally, Eric Caliendo, on keyboard and trumpet, is the son of resident Linda Caliendo.

Billy Elton is a popular group, performing in venues and at festivals across the Midwest.

"Our residents love live performances and were especially excited about the tribute to two of the greatest rock musicians," said Carla Smith, Director of Lifestyles. "This was fun and lively entertainment that would appeal to all generations."
