Friendship Village welcomes historical storyteller Lynn Rymarz as she shares the story of the important roles women held during World War II. Not only did they hold down the fort at home, many supported the war effort by working in defense plants and volunteering for war-related organizations. Come and hear the story of one of the most iconic representations of women during this time – Rosie the Riveter – as well as many other powerful women.
