Approximately four dozen Friendship Village residents have attended programs sponsored by the RTA, focusing on the use of accessible public transportation.  Presenter Craig Yunker said that the program is designed to help increase awareness about the ease of using Pace, Metra and the CTA.  Craig, who was a former body builder, is quadriplegic as the result of a diving accident.  His presentation is based on his own knowledge and experience in using public transportation. Craig is the founder/president of MoreAbled, Inc.

During the February 6th presentation, Richard Bascomb, Transportation Planner for the Village of Schaumburg was on hand to address local public transportation topics.
On February 23rd, Craig will lead a computer workshop for online trip planning..

The program is free and open to the public.  For reservations or additional information, call Jeannette at 847-884-5539.
