The 5th Annual Silver Games

The 5th Annual Silver Games will be held on September 11-14th. Presented by Friendship Village of Schaumburg and Schaumburg Park District and including the YMCA,  the Silver Games feature friendly competition for individuals ages 62 and over.  The Silver Games are designed to encourage exercise of both the body and brain, and will feature 27 different events including swimming, golfing, fishing, poker, jigsaw puzzles, shuffleboard and more.  

The various events will be held at Friendship Village, the Schaumburg Park District Community Recreation Center, Schaumburg Golf Club and Sports Center. Bus transportation is available. The Silver Games will conclude with a spaghetti dinner on September 14th.

The 5th Annual Silver Games event is open to the public.  Registration is $10/person and includes unlimited event entries, a T-shirt, and continental breakfasts on Tuesday-Friday mornings.  The golf competition is an additional $15. Friday evening’s Italian dinner with live entertainment is $12/person additional and limited to the first 150 people.  For additional information call Jeff at 847-839-3647.
