Friendship Village Residents to Explore the Wonders of Science

Friendship Village is introducing a class which allow participants to explore The Wonders of Science, through a series of lecture and hands-on experience. The ten-week course will cover a fascinating variety of topics.  Featured, will be the study of forensics, such as that shown in the popular television program CSI.  Focusing on the different processes and science behind forensics, students will discuss finger printing, collecting and examining evidence and more. Other classes will include the science of DNA, black ink chromatography, weather, erosion and cells.

The class will be taught by Diane Dusckett who has a master's degree in teaching, and a bacehlor's degree in chemistry and biology with a minor in psychology.

Friendship Village residents always have an opportunity to continue learning about new and fascinating topics.
